Finding ‘the slot’ with your driver will help you find more fairways. Use this tip from Clay Ballard to become a much more powerful driver of the golf ball.
I think Clay has a great understanding of the golf swing and imparts it in unique and easy to follow ways; I particularly liked this video and can’t wait to see the results. But, why no answers to some great questions in the comments?
Clay - great stuff - TY. 4 index but constantly too steep. Working on this - great results but two frequent issues. 1. A dead pull. Not a hook. 2. Applying this to irons and fairway woods, hitting so many shots fat? Thoughts on how to avoid these two actions?
Clay-you indicated that the driver should be pointing to the RIGHT of the target line at release (P8). Is this recommendation the same for the irons? I frequently hear instructors say that you should finish low and LEFT with iron shots. Kurt
Clay, I love the drill. Question: Not because Im older just genetics, I have never been flexible. My wrist bends back only 10 to 20 degrees. Been that way since I was 16. Does the drill change if you cant give the "full gas" in part 1 of the drill?
